Andrés was previously the Executive Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Sanya in Hainan China. He was with Ritz-Carlton 13 years and has been with Marriott International for over 19 years in 8 different properties.
Andrés‘s previous postings include Ritz-Carlton hotels at Laguna Niguel, Denver, Key Biscayne along with periods in the West Indies, Costa Rica and France. His apprenticeships were served at Restaurant George Blanc in Vonnas, France and at Restaurant Roland Perroz in Verbier, Switzerland.
In 2015 Chef Andrés was recognized by Marriott International as Asia Pacific Award of Culinary Excellence, Ritz-Carlton Chef of the Year. A native of Costa Rica, Andrés is fluent in Spanish, English, French.
