Senior Guest Experience Manager
A native Southerner, Edie spent her early years in Florida and Louisiana, where she got her first taste of life in the service industry. In New Orleans, she worked for Tales of the Cocktail before moving to Washington DC to get her Masters from Johns Hopkins University. There, she started working for Drink Company by Derek Brown and Angie Salame. With them she opened Mockingbird Hill, Eat The Rich, Southern Efficiency, and Columbia Room. As Partner and Director of Operations, Edie oversaw all current operations and new openings.
Then, embracing her lifelong passion for wine, Edie worked with Rob Wilder, Jose Andres, and Gary Mendel at WineGame, creating the first iteration of the WineGame database. After launch, Edie moved back into operations at the Dupont Circle Hotel to head up the food and beverage program.
Edie’s years of experience around the country and internationally serve her well in her current role as the Service and Guest Experience Manager. She oversees all aspects of the guest experience for all current locations and new openings where she defines service standards and day-to-day operations for restaurant service and bar teams.
